Western Canada has experienced some unseasonably wet weather this year, making it impossible for W2W to track build.
So if the rain ever stops, we will complete the first phase of the NEW W2W Off-Road Race Track.
We hope to finish the 2011 season with some exciting W2W Off-Road Racing and Mud Bog events, so – weather permitting – put Castrol Raceway on your calendar for Saturday, October 8, 2011!
With the construction of the permanent W2W ORR race track being completed in 2012, competitors and sponsors will be assured a solid base on which to build. We’re also looking at 2012 to have the highest truck count yet, and we still NEED YOU to get involved… as a competitor, a sponsor, or help us out right on the track!
A side-by-side UTV class is being reviewed for the 2012 season, and other new classes will be established as competitor interest is expressed.
We regret to inform you, we must cancel the upcoming July 31 off road short course race at Castrol Raceway just south of Edmonton, Alberta.
There are numerous factors out of our control, but the biggest factor being the weather. Due to the track being repeatedly drenched and no time to dry, it has made it impossible to work on the track. The weatherman is still calling for more rain and showers. This is a disappointing announcement, but we appreciate your understanding.
We finally have our 2011 short course off road racing schedule at Castrol Raceway near Edmonton! We apologize for the delay but did not want to post dates if we were not able to follow through with them.
